The venues of our Talks and our Observatory
1. The map below shows the Cardiff University site where the Society's fortnightly astronomical talks are held. Please note that the talks are held in a lecture room (T2.09 - the Trevithick Lecture Theatre) on the building's second floor which can be reached by a lift.

By Bus
Cardiff Bus route numbers 28B, 52, 57, 58 and X1 stop in West Grove and Newport Road is served by buses 11, 38, 38A, 44, 45, 46, 49 and 50.
By Train
Arriva Trains Wales run a regular service from Cardiff Central Station and the surrounding area to Cardiff Queen Street Station which is situated about five minutes' walk from the venue.

By Road
Leave the M4 at junction 33 and take the A4232 exit towards Airport/Barry. At the roundabout take the first exit onto the A4232 heading for Airport/Barry, After 3 miles exit at the Culverhouse Cross roundabout and take the fourth exit onto the A48 towards Cowbridge. In St Nicholas village turn left at the traffic lights and follow the signs for Dyffryn
