Partial Eclipse 25th October 2022 Dyffryn Gardens
A very successful event, slow to start but the clouds began to cooperate, and we had good views of the event right through maximum and afterwards (kept on doing solar observing till the crowds disappeared).
Lots and lots of oohs and aahs! The Visitor Centre had sent people to see us, and soon the numbers viewing began to build up.
At the end I called back into the Visitor Centre to thank them and say we were on our way out - to overhear a conversation between receptionist and 2 members of the public singing our praises (knowledgeable, enthusiastic , and kindly provided a great opportunity, nothing too much trouble etc.).
We all gave the safety message many times over, and it was very satisfying to see people so enthralled with the opportunity we offered.
