Solar Viewing Brecon 25th June 2022
A day of Sun and heavy showers but we were outside more than we were in.
We had a good number of (international) people interested, some had travelled especially to see us and it worked well on the balcony with quick access through the door at the end to a dry area where we could keep scopes, glossies, laptop and us dry! And this time round we even had a sunspot to show people.
Many thanks to STFC for supplying the wonderful resource material, informative leaflets, posters, workbooks and freebies for us to hand out so that people had a better appreciation of what they were looking at.
All in all, another success to chalk up and it was good to be back in the outreach business.
